In the world of intelligence, in the search for truth, it is difficult to distinguish between reality and its reflection, if you will, it is an illusion, as if in a “hall of mirrors”… I don’t understand all the negativity in the reviews, yes, its pace is not in Bourne territory, but it is exciting, wonderfully acted, and holds your attention.
Don’t let the negativity stop you from watching, it’s worth your time
Fassbender is excellent again and unlike most spy dramas, it’s actually quite believable. I haven’t seen the French original before this one so I apologize if I don’t provide a comparison, but it would be a shame if the comparison was negative and would stop me from enjoying this one at all. Maybe the pacing concerns are due to the binge-watching culture, it’s probably slow if I want to watch multiple episodes in one sitting, but honestly I don’t see any problem with that.
