It tells the story of three very different families competing to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion that they think will solve all their problems. I was surprised to see the show get such low ratings, but it made more sense after reading many reviews explaining why they didn’t get past the first episode.
I really love the cast and everyone’s performances
The show is a slow-paced mystery that may not be for everyone. I personally found it very funny and entertaining with a particular tone from Liz Feldman that I appreciate.
By the last episode I was quite invested in the story, despite having worked out the main twist very early on
I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano at first due to my own prejudices (a lifetime of not being able to separate him from Everyone Loves Raymond), but that went away pretty quickly. All the different characters have their own side stories that form a tangled web of chaos that is gradually, though not completely, unraveled.
I’m not mad about it though
I would love to see more of this show and I really hope they get a second season. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
